About Josie
Josie Reed is a longtime Centerton City Council Member who has served the community since 2009. Over the past 17 years, she has been part of Centerton’s transformation from a small town into one of the fastest-growing cities in Northwest Arkansas.
Professional Experience
Josie brings a strong background in both public service and corporate leadership. She has held senior roles at Walmart and other major organizations, where she managed large-scale operations involving product development, compliance, supply chain systems, and cross-functional teams.
Her work required collaboration across legal, merchandising, operations, and regulatory departments—experience that translates directly into effective city governance and decision-making.
She currently serves as Director of the Centerton Area Chamber of Commerce, where she works to:
Support local businesses
Attract and retain economic investment
Strengthen partnerships between businesses and government
Promote a thriving and business-friendly Centerton
